Format of the first subject mentioned in a summary/biography
A summary or biography's subject is the target of the page: a show, episode, person, network or web channel.
If the name of the subject is used in the summary text, it must be formatted exactly according to the following policy. Deviations are not allowed, regardless of any styling of the subject name on an official source.
- The first occurrence of the subject's name must be styled using boldface only. Any other formatting like italic, "quotes" or CAPITALS are not allowed here.
- Any subsequent occurences of the subject's name must not receive any formatting at all.
- Except for the first occurence of a subject's name, boldface must not be used anywhere in a summary.
- CAPITALS must never be used in a summary for the purpose of emphasis.
- Italics may be used sparingly for emphasis. Use italics when introducing or distinguishing keywords. Overuse of emphasis reduces its effectiveness.
