Friend or foe, man or beast, all know that Calero is a very generous giver of due. You earn it, I give it. Simple as that. So I give them all the credit in the world for not obsessing on Ben letting the reporter die. He felt it needed doing, he did it and moved on with his life, beautifully handled.
One of the reasons I like The 100, is because the villains weren't "bad guys", they were all just trying to do the best for their respective tribes. So naturally I enjoyed Tia as the seasons foil and I liked that Ryn had the capacity to grasp that Tia, like many a dictator, meant well.
I just binged the entire season and aside from generally liking Tia and how the dead reporter situation was handled I'm not sure anything stood out for me. Overall I think this show would have done better in the late 90's, I could see it pairing well with First Wave.
