This is the first episode in which an Ancient Repository of knowledge is shown. The second is found in the Season 7 episode "Lost City, Part 1". A variant is shown in the Season 10 episodes "The Quest, Part 2", and "The Shroud".

In the subtitles for the Asgard, the word "Ancients" is spelled with a lowercase "a" but it is spelled with a capital "A" throughout the series later on.
