Matthew is so gay it makes Billy feel homophobic. Self-centered, self-obsessed, and with a dubious amount of talent, Matthew seems to be making his way through show business with great success. Always at the right parties, landing the best auditions, and sleeping with the grossest old producers, Matthew is a harsh reminder to Billy of just how out of the game he is.
