A former detective and 2nd generation NYPD, Maxine is no fan of Hayes Morrison and her family. Maxine's ex-brothers in blue distrust the CIU and see her involvement with it as a threat towards their fraternity. But Maxine understands that uncovering the truth, no matter who it impacts, is why she became a cop. This doesn't mean Maxine is free from her own past mistakes. And as she juggles her new job, being a mother, and living outside the thin blue line, her dark past may seep its way back into her life.
