Much like John Ellison, his friend and colleague in the Samaritan Emergency Department, Dr. Harper is a dedicated ER doctor with a powerful sense of duty to his patients. Intuitive and quick with a smile, the natural-born peacekeeper is a loyal friend and a calming presence among the patients and staff of the ED. And unlike Dr. Ellison, he manages to roll with the punches and somehow remain lighthearted despite the daily challenges he faces—perhaps in part due to an unshakable faith in God's plan.
