Super Tuesday and the State of the Union address scrambled schedules.

FOX had its premiere week last week. The Cleaning Lady opened its third season, down three hundred thousand viewers from its last new episode in December 2022. Alert: Missing Persons Unit opened its second season down almost a million viewers from its finale in February 2023. Those numbers need to come up if the show has any chance for renewal. Family Guy moved from anchoring the Sunday animation block to acting as a schedule filler on Wednesday following The Masked Singer. It's easy to see that the move was not a good one in the first week. A new episode on Wednesday had four hundred thousand fewer viewers than a repeat on Sunday. Speaking of the Sunday animation block, Krapopolis picked up one hundred thousand viewers while Grimsburg was even.

ABC had a good week. Will Trent gained almost a million viewers last week. The Rookie was up two hundred thousand viewers. Chances are good both shows will be renewed. The Bachelor was even. American Idol picked up four hundred thousand viewers.

CBS surprised no one with the announcement that Tracker was renewed for a second season. The series has gained viewers week after week, it was up half a million viewers over last week, a rarity for most shows these days. The Equaliser was up half a million viewers. NCIS was down one hundred thousand viewers. NCIS: Hawai'i was even.

NBC ran mostly repeats last week. Night Court returned after a week off, up three hundred thousand viewers. It will likely be renewed. Extended Family was also up three hundred thousand viewers which might be enough to squeak a second season. Deal No Deal Island shed six hundred thousand viewers off its premiere.
