The actor retraces the extraordinary twists-and-turns of the case of James Hanratty, and the evidence which put Hanratty's neck in the hangman's noose in April 1962 - one of the last men to suffer the fate in Britain. The event helped launch a concerted campaign to end capital punishment in the UK.
