A Spanish diplomat falls from the top of the Águas Livres aqueduct. The Judicial Police investigate with the help of a Spanish inspector. At first, they wonder if it was suicide or murder, but they soon discover that there is a serial killer on the loose who is inspired by the legendary "Aqueduct Killer" of the 19th century: Diogo Alves.
