Alexey Filippov, a traumatologist at the city hospital, nicknamed Filin, discovers the talent of an amateur detective. After a car accident that happened ten years ago, in which his wife died, he suffers from insomnia and tries in vain to fall asleep in various ways. And if alcohol has helped him best so far, now, with the advent of detective investigations in his life, it is the solved case that allows Filin to fall asleep at least for a while.
With the help of his team of paramedics and police officers, Filin solves crime after crime, because all 24 hours are available to him in a day.
