The show had some good moments, but ultimately I don't recommend it. The lore isn't canon with the movies, the show breaks it's own internal rules, and the animation looks like its from the 90s.
A good retelling of the original story from the 1984 movie, but with several new twists. If you liked the movies or TSCC then you will like this. Its animation of course, but the IG company is the same company that created the Ghost in the Shell franchise. Its kind of violent though... like Game of Thrones violent.
