Santa 39 hasn't done his job proberly so he has to take the Santa exam once again. If he fails he will be demoted to a goblin.
Together with his assistant Frits his final exam will be to get a family that no longer celebrate christmas to celerate it once again. Through a draw he gets the christmas hating family Andersen (father Tage, mother Åse og daughter Putte). They are hiding a terrible secret as to why they don't celebrate christmas.
