The players were ordinary passersby trying to hail a taxi. They were only informed that they were participating in a television program after they had stated their destination and fare and boarded the taxi. If they agreed to participate, they could earn money by answering questions on various topics during the ride. If they declined, they exited the car, but their presence was still shown on air. The total number of questions was limited only by the length of the ride.
