I came across this black-and-white 1966 German TV series on YouTube while looking for the inferior "Space Rangers." Considering the time and values of the mid-1960's this series is/was culturally quite advanced, and stands up to Gene Roddenberry's vision of The Future. Like "Firefly," this series wasn't appreciated by the powers-that-be at the time, and was cast aside due to "production costs." Lack of Vision/Insight isn't limited to Hollyweird.
