Real Time with Bill Maher includes an opening monologue, roundtable discussions with panelists, and interviews with in-studio and satellite guests. Politico hailed Maher as "a pugnacious debater and a healthy corrective to the claptrap of cable news", while Variety noted, "There may not be a more eclectic guest list on all of television".

It's getting more cringe every week.

I need to take a break. The audience shills have caved in my brain. Bill makes derisive remarks about sitcoms and their canned laughter but, what's the difference when you have live drops of WHOO WOO and HAAAAAA HA HA HA HA every 15 seconds? That's so we know when he's funny, yeah?
I can't believe it's already been 2 1/2 years since I put him on hold. I haven't missed it in the least. From what I've seen him say in news articles, Bill has gotten too smug and it seems to me, at times, he's either trying to pander to both sides of the aisle or antagonize both. Not as funny anymore.
Who actually watches this show anymore? It seems to have lost its identity as Maher gets richer and richer andisolates himself from what used to be his core demographic.
Would you pay to watch this guy?
