I do enjoy a good mystery series with great acting and this is it. Just wish they could have had more episodes and seasons. I was greatly taken aback at the idea at first of Rowan Atkinson as Maigret, whose only history I knew of was Mr. Bean and other comedies but I was greatly surprised and pleased to have seen him do such a terrific job. The show is blessed also with great directing.
