Raised in St.Thomas, Ontario, Rachel McAdams had her first major role in a 2001 episode of Disney's The Famous Jett Jackson, followed soon afterwith her breakout role as Regina George in the hit 2004 comedy Mean Girls. A few of her other notable credits include Are You There God? It's Me, Margaret, The Notebook, Sherlock Holmes, The Time Traveler's Wife and Wedding Crashers. She is also recognized for her role as Detective Ani Bezzerides in True Detective and Kate McNab in Slings and Arrows.
