Born in Beaumont, Texas, Jill Jacobson moved to Los Angeles to pursue an acting career after graduating from the University of Texas with a Bachelor of Science in Radio, TV and Film Performance. She began her career in 1977 as Nurse Sherri Martin in Nurse Sherri, and as Sharlene in Bad Georgia Road. Her first television role was in a 1981 episode of Harper Valley P.T.A.
Jill Jacobson died following a long illness at the age of 70.
