As the son of playwrights Janis Spence and Michael Cook, Sebastian Spence was destined to an auspicious career in the world of acting from the beginning. He was bitten by the acting bug at an early age.
His first starring role on the science fiction original series First Wave where he brought to life the role of Cade Foster. The show developed quite a cult following, but following a three-year-run, it was canceled.
He guest-starred in a variety of science fiction television shows, made-for-television films, and on occasion these turned into recurring guest spots. He is most notably recognized today as "Cowboy" Cliff Harting in Hallmark Channel's original television series "Cedar Cove," based on the books by award-winning author Debbie Macomber.
