I equally love and hate this episode!
Niles' preparations for his Valentine's date are comedy gold. The writing, direction and acting are simply genius.
This episode also shows a glimpse of the future in which Niles is holding a little girl at the hospital, and tells her, "Say hello to your new sister," as Daphne holds a baby. Kind of disappointing then that they seem to have only one child, David, in the Frasier reboot.
