Static electricity plus a potent fuel-air mixture results in a pretty big boom, as Adam hilariously found out when he singed off his own eyebrow and arm hair. It proved that these experiments really were quite dangerous, and it gave MythBusters one of its most classic quotes - "Am I missing an eyebrow?"
