Excellent series! Great story, great acting.
Only thing is that this series should get a reward for most annoying sound track. Terrible sounds.
Alex Garland's team has created an audio visual landscape that gives free reign for your meditation to stampede across. The attention to detail in the sound track is relentless and feels like the transition from monochrome to full colour... but for your ears. Devs takes itself as seriously as a first year student's first big project, but without the naïveté.
The world of the film Ex Machina (2014) lives on with its intention effortless juxtaposition of gleaming clean hard edges of technology and the priceless original beauty of nature; a lack of compromise that has a humility that only excessive wealth can attain.
Adding a story to this cornucopia would almost be guiding Lily, if I wasn't already so invested in her world.
Well... That was a boost to my jonesing for viewing entertainment, written intelligently. This apparently was intended as a standalone mini series. So reading on the web there is talk of a possible second season. I know... In many worlds that wouldn't happen. I just hope I am in the verse, of the multi-verse, where there is a second season.
