Lucifer has decided to take a vacation from Hell. When a former "client" turns up on his doorstep and is soon murdered, Lucifer vows to make the person responsible pay... and joins forces with a police detective to make it happen.

As Lucifer begins realizing that he's changing because of his time on Earth, Chloe unofficially investigates the case of a paparazzo who drove an actor's son to his death.

Lucifer encourages a young quarterback to lose his virginity with an attractive woman at a party. However, the woman turns up dead the next day in the quarterback's swimming pool, and Lucifer sets out to find the guilty party and punish them.

Lucifer misunderstands Linda's suggestion that he demystify Chloe and decides to try sleeping with her. Meanwhile, Chloe pursues the case of a missing girl who disappeared after meeting the head of a "Player" organization.

Lucifer becomes mixed up with a gang war when a woman belonging to one gang gets killed at a fashion show, and the designer is a former member of a rival gang. Meanwhile, Dan asks Lucifer to look after Chloe, and Amenadiel starts infiltrating Lucifer's life by approaching Linda.

When a former NBA player and current philanthropist is murdered, Chloe suspects that he wasn't as benevolent as he seemed. Meanwhile, Lucifer explores his own benevolence after he refuses to sleep with Chloe, and comes to a realization about his bouts of vulnerability.

When a woman is found dead in a theater, "Hail Lucifer" carved in her back, the trail leads to a Satanic cult... and a killer who is possibly trying to impress Lucifer. Meanwhile, Maze finds herself torn between her duty and her feelings, and Amenadiel pays Lucifer a visit.

John Decker's killer goes to trial... and Charlotte is his defense attorney. However, it's all a plan on her part to turn Chloe against Lucifer. Meanwhile, Dan realizes why Charlotte is interested in him, and Amenadiel realizes why Chloe's mother Penelope looks familiar.

After Lucifer and Chloe have an interrupted "moment," the tension between the two of them makes it difficult to investigate the murder of two victims, who happen to be Lucifer's ex-flames. Since Lucifer seems to be the only connection, interviews are conducted with his recent paramours and a surprising connection is made that helps lead them to the killer. Meanwhile, Charlotte continues to try and manipulate Chloe and Lucifer's impending romance and a larger threat is revealed.

Lucifer and Chloe investigate a poisoning case where the victims aren't the ones truly being targeted. Meanwhile, Charlotte tries to find the best way to tell Lucifer that God engineered Chloe's life.

With Chloe dying of poison, Lucifer comes up with a desperate scheme to get the antidote from Jason... even though the man is suffering in Hell. To get the ingredient, Lucifer will have to die.

Lucifer returns to LA with an "exotic dancer" as a wife, and Chloe is less than thrilled. He insists on joining her in her current case, but she isn't interested. Meanwhile, Charlotte tries to use Lucifer's new wife to find out what he plans for her.

Together, the two of them work to find her, but interesting secrets are revealed along the way that could compromise the investigation. Meanwhile, Chloe is upset that Lucifer left on her birthday, so Linda tries to lift her spirits.

Reporter Reese Getty discovers that the man who has been sleeping with his wife is Lucifer, and sets out to bring him down no matter what it takes.

Lucifer finds his views on popularity challenged when he and Chloe investigate a murder tied to a dating app. Meanwhile, Amenadiel gives Linda some advice after the death of her ex-husband.

Two people that Lucifer has done favors for turn up murdered, and he and the police soon realize that the Sinnerman is involved. Meanwhile, Maze returns to town and finds Amenadiel and Linda "talking", and figures that they're involved.

The captive Sinnerman threatens to take another life and unless Lucifer and Chloe take him to his victim. They go behind Marcus' back to do it, and Lucifer soon discovers who he's been facing.

When Chloe take a vacation to plan her wedding with Marcus, Lucifer finds himself partnered with Dan and tries to do what Chloe would do to figure out her motives. Meanwhile, Amenadiel convinces Charlotte to help him undermine the wedding.

After Chloe breaks up with Marcus, Lucifer tries to recreate what it was like when he and Chloe first met. Meanwhile, Charlotte realizes that the suspect in a woman's death may be tied to a duffel bag she was asked to dispose of 13 years ago.

Lucifer, Chloe, and Dan soon realize that Marcus killed Charlotte, and join forces to find evidence that will put him away.

Ella helps Lucifer and Chloe investigate the murder of a child psychologist, and receives a visit from an old friend. Meanwhile, Dan and Lucifer turn to Maze for help when they lose the prime suspect in the case.
